Description
Are you concerned because your child’s handwriting has improved, yet you know more practice is needed to maintain progress and prevent bad habits from creeping back in? Our handwriting club can help.
An Occupational Therapist specialising in handwriting created the club. It offers a unique, engaging way to keep your child’s writing on track. Helping your child continue to improve their skills.
Every month in the handwriting club your child will receive:
- Monthly Workbook: Filled with writing practices linked to historical events that match the date, making learning both educational and exciting.
- Resource Box: Delivered to your door. It includes a printed workbook, a mystery pen or pencil, challenge scratch card and surprise gift.
- Bi-Monthly Zoom Group Sessions: Focused on improving legibility and speed, held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 11AM or 7 PM.
- Weekly Group Feedback: “Feedback Friday Videos” delivered by an occupational therapist. Providing personalised insights on all submitted work.
- Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Approved.
Designed to take your child from a motivated to a faster writer. This will give them the skills to easily improve their schoolwork. Your child will get daily writing activities. There will be one for each date in the month.
Most students aim to do three writing activities a week. They can join one or both group Zoom calls. They can also submit work for review at their own pace. Some do it weekly, others monthly.
What Parents Are Saying:
“My son enjoyed the first class so much – he then wanted to stay up late completing worksheets! It is so lovely to have this unique resource, and to have the wonderful safe space you provide for children feeling despondent about their writing!” – Alice, Mum.
