Handwriting Checklist for Kids: The Newsroom

£45.00

This Newsroom resource is for 9 years and above. It helps them refine & polish their handwriting by using checklist after every time they write.

Description

Are you desperately trying to help your child improve their writing, but they insist they know best?

Our The Newsroom course will equip them with the tools to self-check their work, building essential self-correction and awareness skills. Over six weeks, students will work through fun daily worksheets. They will rewrite passages. This will improve key parts of their handwriting.

Here’s what they’ll experience:

  • Exciting Writing Activity: Your child will tackle “Is It True or Is It a Lie?” for 42 different news articles. They’ll copy the headline in capital letters. Then, they’ll rewrite a paragraph. It usually has at least 5 sentences. Their work will be reviewed using an eight-point checklist.
  • Progress Tracking: Students can track their progress on a graph. They do this by tallying how many of the eight points they achieved. This feature is great for those who are competitive. It also works for those who are self-motivated.
  • Parents’ Monthly Q&A Call: Join our special monthly support call for parents. You can get advice and extra tips to help your child succeed.

Designed to take your child from an independent writer who resists guidance into an improved writer who excels in all aspects of writing.

Most students complete one worksheet at a time. They do it either daily or whenever they have time. This allows flexibility in their learning.

What Parents Are Saying:

“These sheets were excellent. I particularly liked the fact that there was copying as well as free-writing, and that he scored his own writing, avoiding any conflict with parents!” – Phil, Dad of an 11-year-old
