How do we get started?
1. Click 'Buy Now' button and pay
Receive instant access to the workbook and how-to videos. Download and print the workbook (48 pages).
2. Do, Decide and Review
You can complete the worksheets in any order you choose. Your child should copy the title in all capital letters. Then, copy the paragraph into separate sentences. Capitalizing them correctly.
Once written, they need to decide if the news is real or fake news. The answers are at the back of the workbook with URLs to read further.
Next, they should review their work. This is very important for progress to happen.
3. Track the progress
Your child should use the tracking sheet to track the score out of 8. They may find certain areas are more tricky than others. They can watch the how-to videos to help them improve. Or, they may find particular letters or words are harder to write.
The aim is that they learn how to review and improve. Helping them to avoid making the same mistakes again.ย

Yes! The Newsroom is set up for practicing short, focused content. Each worksheet should take 10-15 minutes to complete. This makes it easy to fit into busy schedules. Although there are 42 worksheets, a child could do a few at a time. It is not essential they do one every day for 6 weeks. A few parents asked for daily writing activities for a 6-week school term. That’s why it was set up this way.ย
